What Church Do I Belong To?

 The short answer to that is the Baptist church which is part of the Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec. But recently I across a series of surveys which tell you what Christian denomination best suits you or in some cases what religion best suits you.

The first one is from Playbuzz and Asks What Christian Denomination Should You Be Part Of? I took the survey and the answer I got was Lutheran which is a bit strange since I have never foot in a Lutheran church. But I do use a Lutheran Book of Prayer in my devotions sometimes.

I came across a blog by Internet Monk and the post was titled Where do I belong? On it he had a bunch of surveys he had taken the results given. One was Belief Net-Belief-O-Matic and I learned that I am a Conservative Christian Protestant The next one was What is Your Spiritual type which learned that I am a Confident Believer.

Two other ones were the Christian Denomination Selector which has as 100% Wesleyan/Methodist and 100% Southern Baptist but would be hard follow thorough since there are very few congregations of either of these in Canada. Especially Wesleyan Methodist which was my number one answer since there are very few congregations in Canada. The next one is What Christian Denomination Do You Belong To and I got 87% Puritan but what was interesting was I got 81% Calvinist and 77% Methodist since two of my answers I choose free will over predestination.

Also, there was What Kind Christian Are You where there are various Christian figures where they see which one you are most like. I learned that am a Billy Graham Christian which makes sense it was through his ministry that I was saved.

In short I am a Puritan Lutheran Wesleyan Methodist Conservative Christian Protestant. I hope that clears up things. I hope some of you out there will take some of these quizzes.

Why I Am Arminian

 I have debated this topic for a while in my Christian walk and have come to some conclusions as I researched it .What I am talk about is the Calvinism vs Arminianism debate and have come up on one side. This is the Arminian side of this debate and these are some reasons why. The first reason is the most central to this issue is free will which goes back to the Garden where Adam and Eve had a choice and unfortunately made the wrong one. Since then we have all become deprived and have the choice whether or not to follow God. There are of course consequences if we choose to follow him or not. This is not taking from the sovereignty of God but as created beings we have we will.
